Just curious if anyone wanted to get it going...I have facebook and i know that there a lot of college students here (hence my starting of "The Official College Thread")
Let me know if its a good idea. Maybe we could just do links? Or even names.

Yea some people don't want others here to know that much info about them. But if you want to show it off create a badge.
Click on 'My Profile'
Under the picture of you is a link that is called 'create a profile badge'
Then you just click create a badge at the top or design your own.
Here is the example that they have on the site.
When you make a badge people can just click on it to go to your profile.

yeah im with JJJ I dont trust people on this site I have two people from FIPG on my facebook and one of them isnt even here anymore. I bet only a handful of people will figure it out.

you can search their email...go to search and then click advanced search, once you get there just enter their email into the email field. You don't have to fill in all the other crap...I mean unless you know their life story to search by.

Myspace is ridiculous now. With all the spam and shit, i stopped using it. Now that I got hacked, I dont even have an account.

No im not using MOST of the new features. I think that the only one that I have is the grafitti wall just cause I thought that was cool. All the other stuff? Now way.
Like someone said, facebook is going downhill. I used to know everyone that added me as a friend but now i get these random people. I used to like it when it was just college, easy way to keep in touch with some of my friends. It is getting out of hand.

I dont have the grafitti one myself but a friend does and yeah its kinda cool. The only one I really use is the iLike app that adds songs to your profile but wont auto play them.
looks like whoever runs it got money hungry also. It started with the virtual "gifts" that you had to pay for, now there are coperate ads from companies like LASIK showing Kristin from Laguna Beach get lasik surgery (

I am not a huge fan of facebook. I likes myspace's layout a little more. But i really only use the two sites for my Music sites, still i end up working in both of them alot.. I will admit that I have been addicted to mob wars multiple times on facebook.

Haha. Myspace is basically just a rip-off of Facebook's design now, not that it was that great to begin with. I would also never use Myspace/Facebook for finding music. Last.fm is much better at that. Nothing against you, phriq wink

No offense taken. lol. I actually should get some stuff on Last.fm. The main reason I Use myspace and facebook is that they are so widely used. I dont look for music on them, but I put up my music on them. They can be pretty usefull for getting in touch with other artists and stuff for shows and what not.
