What the fuck is this? Yes I know there's another bug thread somewhere, but I don't remember where...

Like I said, the picture is shitty, but you may be able to make it out.

It's about an inch and there's one further in the bush that's a bit bigger.

Colors are red, yellow, and black on the legs.

The best way to tell is letting it bite you.

Who cares? SPRAY 'EM!!
I have never seen a spider that you'd want to have around.
Just go buy some bug spray and suffocate them with it.

I would rather a spider, then flying bugs in my house ANY day.

Looks like an ordinary garden spider, and the description of the colors seems about right. Harmless, in fact quite helpful at catching mosquitoes and flys and such. Let it be, unless it's in your way.

It's just an orb weaving spider I believe. Non venomous to humans, lol. But it still wouldnt be pretty to have it crawl on you.

Orb weaving spiders make flat webs to catch bugs, they dont have great vision so they build near lights etc so when bugs fly into their web they can feel the vibration and move in for the kill.

The one he's talking about look's a lot different than that one....The one in your picture has a much bigger ass and more vivid colors...

Also you there are various different species of orb weaving spiders. You should catch some bugs and toss them into his web, lol.

I think egyptianruin got it right with the first picture. It's almost dead on. Thanks.

I had actually looked at that exact same site dmorris posted.

I hate spiders...kill em. With or without them I have bugs around.

I'm killing centipedes left and right. If I had those in my place too, I'd buy a gun...
