I had always wondered about this. (Sorry if this was already a topic)
I know many unlucky people don't get any referrals, yet complete an offer themselves. However, there have been people that have gotten [ibb41125ed8]too[/ibb41125ed8] many referrals (Yes Virginia, they [ibb41125ed8]do[/ibb41125ed8] exist!) Now while the companies may have profited by that one referral, there are others that can get just as many legitimate referrals, who don't want to do one themselves.
So....
Why don't these companies add that while you need a set number of referrals for a particular gift, if you got a couple more, you need not do an offer yourself?
I could see the problem with so many "thinking" they could get that many, then quitting without the company getting their referral, but those people could always do an offer if they can't get enough.
Seeing how this hasn't happened, there may be a flaw in my logic somewhere, but I can't see it. ;)
