Gratis Proposal

Why doesn't Gratis just do the following?

1.) Indicate in their TOS that they will not suffer chargebacks or be held accountable for fraudulent activity and remove the ridiculous unique IP range requirement.

And

2.) Completely automate their site and shipping processes to automatically instantly validate completed offers and auto-ship your item to your address when sufficient offers have been completed.

This would benefit Gratis because they could hire fewer employees and subcontract all non-automated processes (so its basically just the owner of the franchise). Users would benefit from this change for obvious reasons. From what I've read Gratis is currently the equivalent of PayPal x 10 in terms of manual account freezing for profit under the pretense of security.

Thoughts?

liUnderstand that this is hypothetical and that I comprehend that no amount of discussusing it here will lead to any substantial change, anywhere.li

that means they would need to give out more free stuff. hold violations and fraudulent activity keeps gratis from giving their products away. i guess although the system would be more efficient, it would ship out more ipods than expected. and cheaters might then find ways around the system. also, the customer service may be less helpful due to an automated system. i agree with you though, they would be much faster and so much more reliable. wouldn't it be nice if once you finished your referrals, you could submit for approval, and go STV in the same day, regardless of what day it was.

What is their IP range policy right now?

i dont believ anyone really knows their ip policy is but people have been put on hold for people singing up from the same ip or similar ip's. for example 5 signups from the same dorm building therefore all the ips will be similar.

i dont think same IP is fair, what if a friend wants to sign up right away at your house or something?

Also, the system mentioned in the first post would actually be very efficient, even MORE people would be placed on hold as they could have their system search through the applicatns and whatnot. Then if people went on hold they could contact LIVE customer service...

If Gratis hired a good professional, there wouldn't be any available loopholes in the code or system.

But of course there would be drawabacks and kinks in the system at first, but once these 'errors' were found, Gratis could easily fix them and whatnot...

that was all very confusing, but eh, my opinion P

I think Gratis should put livehelp on there site like some of the other sites have. )

they should at least incorporate a live help system, it would be fairly easy, most problems could be solved in a matter of minutes... then gratis would have alot of happy customers

Ah, but they would never do that because A.) They would have to pay for the Live Support and it would bring them no additional profits. B.) They would have to send out more items which would bring them no additional profits. The automated system would be cheaper for them, however. And so what if an elite few are clever enough to discover and exploit loopholes in such a system? They are a small percentage and more power to them if they have such prowess.
