I drive back and forth from school and into philly for a night on the town and im traveling on the PA turnpike and i cannot afford another ticket.
I was wondering if you all could help me out in finding a good radar..nothing too much over $60.

if its not a valentine one dont buy it
anything under 250 is trash and is a false sense of security like all radar dectors but i trust the valentine enough to go 120 through speed traps ;)
ive never gotten a ticket with my valentine and i constantly go over 100
between 6 of my friends who have valentines only 1 ticket was issued for 15 over and thats because the cops saw him braking and "guessed" his speed it was truly his fault for not braking as soon as the valentine told him.
newb to the radar world i guess
if u want real fun get a police jammer and detector

Passpot 8500 X50 is just as good as the Valentne and has been proven on many times. It's $100 less and from personal experience its very good.

I'm interested in this as well, and I have a few questions. Do most cops use radar guns, and not laser guns? When does a cop use each? If laser guns are newer, work better, and by the time someone detects laser they are already caught, why arent most cops using them?

i find it more dangerous talking on a cell phone or multitasking while driving 35 mph than speeding at 100 mph. if your focused on the road and speed on highways or open roads, you will be better off.. anyways you might as well just not get a detector or save up to buy a top of the line gun later. i was trying out a cheaper one last summer and it didnt detect 3 out of 3 cops i saw. one was gunning down traffic, other two drove right by me. that was the last time i used that thing.
