so i've packed up and moved into my new apartment today, and hooked my computer up. i turn it on, and i get the 'no signal' error through my monitor. i've tried pushing the cables in as far as they'll go, switching sides with the cable, putting the pci-e card in the other pci-e slot...nothing. it was working fine this morning, but now no signal? any suggestions?

btw, it's a viewsonic va1912wb widescreen 19" LCD.

is there more than one place to plug in the monitor to the back of the computer? (like the main one and the vid card one)?? Thats how it is on my computer.

well, i built mine with an asus 18n-sli board, so there is no onboard video. i have a 6800gt OC from bfg and it's been working great, even this morning. i unplugged everything and just set it back up, but im getting a message saying "no signal digital"

there are two dvi ports on the card, and both have been tried, to no avail.

i have a viewsonic vx724 and this used to happen to me a lot. i flash'd the bios and the motherboard and everythign worked fine from there.

In order to flash the bios itself, don't you have to get into the blue screen, or at least a DOS prompt? I'm not able to get into that. Or am I missing something here?

well i have a dfi ultra-d and there's three pins on the motherboard that allow you to flash the bios depending on which ones are capped. check your motherboard manual for it.
