I see ads allover the internet about them, and supposedly they work. You pay like $50 for it, and it plays poker for you and you never lose. Anyone heard of it? Of course I would never use it.

just think about it logically. If you built a program that could consistently win $10,000 in poker each day without you having to do anything other than press start and cashout, why would you bother to sell it to people and draw attention to yourself?

heh, you would be surprised. I used to make $750-900 day using a macro program to use exploits in an online game called EverQuest, and I didn't make the program. The program would run while I was at school and at night, heh. Of course the exploits got fixed within a month since instead of only one person doing it, there were probably 20.

yeah I have an idea of what you are talking about, i'm betting the person that gave that macro away, probably had no idea what he could have earned from it when he made it. If you manage to build yourself a pokerbot that can play a popular network profitably, you would be a damn fool to sell that software.

Actually, it was mor eof a group of exploiters and he shared it, but still. Sharing it only ensures it gets fixed.
