I'm looking for a cheap as hell HD-TV that I can use to play games on. It can be a CRT but I would prefer widescreen, and I was wondering if anyone knew of any cheap ass ones? ($350?).

If this is an insane request, too bad, does it!

i didn't know they made HD-CRTs... is that true?

I doubt you'll get an HD for under $500

Wal-Mart sells a CRT HDTV here for $450 [probably cheaper in the Lower 48].. Check their website.

I see 15"'s for around $300 but they're not widescreen...

Thanks for the effort.

I found a 27" for around $400 and its HD, but its not wide screen.

Btw, the Xbox VGA HD Cable already comes with the premium package -)

Btw, those ones mr_black posted arent tvs, are they?

Does it matter if its a tv? will it still work?

And does the HDAV Cable work with tvs? It says its for pc moitors. Im confused -(

Here's one[=http//www.outlet.philips.com/b2c_redesign/b2c/productdetail.do?productguid=41907ABB9A6F008D00000000828BD47242B93049051F0A7500000000828BD443&productarea=41907ABB9A6F008D00000000828BD472&scenario=catalog&shop=OUTLET]Here's one from SD today (30", ATSC and QAM, HDMI and widescreen)

There's a code to make it under $400.

Why don't you do a DIY site and get a nice big one. You'll pay less than $300.

Plus I wouldn't know which sites are good because the requirements are insane, unless someone wants to start a conga or something...

So youd rather pay 1500-2000 for a TV that is 130-175 on a DIY? Oooookkk... Go for it then, I'm gonna save 1500.

For a cheap hdtv check out ecost.com . They had a 32 inch lcd HDTV for $599. They have a lot of good deals and probably have something slightly smaller in your price range. Hope that helps.
