What time did your high school start?

I was chatting with a cross country friend the other day, and high school happened to come up. I mentioned that we started at 715 am and my friend thought I was joking. Seriously, we started homeroom at 715 and first period was like 732. At that point I realized that possibly not all schools were as crazy as PA schools. For most of the students sleep deprivation was a way of life. I'd be interested to hear your experiences.

I think mine was about 800 (register) but the first class was at 815.

1st period = 800 <- however most students live/lived at least 25 minutes away.

wow, i guess I had it good. 1st period was at 830....homeroom was at 1000. Usually seniors came at that time.

thats a pretty weird schedule for a senior if thats the only option.
usually juniors/seniors starts early and freshman/sophomore starts late.(for schools with overlapping sessions) I remember a semester when I was a freshman where I start at around 12.

yea i think it was 750 then 730 or the otherway around, they changed it a few times i think.
that 20 minutes was harsh!
