I was just wondering about hdtvs. Im getting a Xbox 360 soon and I want the most out of it. Im in need of a new tv, so I am gonna buy a new one. But I have a few questions

I need a tv that is HD enabled and is around 300 bux or so. The size I need is around 20 and less inches. Any suggestions?

Or am I confused? What is the diff. between HD and LCD?

Do I need to do anything special with HDTV, as in do I have to install something? I heard something about a signal and Im getting kinda confused.

Ill give karma to those that help )

CNET TV Guide[=http//reviews.cnet.com/Televisions/4520-7608_7-1016109.html?tag=dir]CNET TV Guide has good beginner info and HDTV basics.

HD is the type of resolution. ED is another type, not as high as HD, but better than normal TV.
LCD is a type of screen (like a thin monitor.) Plasma is another type of flat TV. IF size is not important, get a tube TV (like a convential TV, but in HD,) or rear projection. But for $300, you won't have too many options.

The specs look fine. I have no idea how it actually performs. Oh and never buy anything from Best Buy. They'll rip you off massively on just about anything.

If you are talking about an LCD Monitor with the VGA adapter, i don't think that is very good quality. But a LCD TV would have the required inputs.
