Im looking to get a new monitor for my computer (the one I have now is about 6 years old+ and it works perfectly). I wanna switch things up and get a flat screen monitor, preferably around $250 or less.
and also a tv would be nice ) Around 23 inches or so.
Suggestions?

Isn't this like the 50th monitor thread? I just got 2 Samsung 204B for under $300 and they rule.
