Can anyone record TV on their computer?

A friend of mine is on Wheel of Fortune tonight and I can't record it because we sold all our VHS players and tapes, I will be forever greatful if someone could do this and somehow send it to me over AIM or host it somewhere. +Karma for any help or suggestions.

I don't have cable right now, and my reception sucks where I am, but I could probably do it with my old wintv card. Someone else can probably do better though.

I can only offer the same.. I have a WinTV PVR-150.. I could cap it for you, but if your looking for mind-blowing quality.. You'll need to find someone else ?

Funny thing is that my actual TV reception is pretty clean. Maybe the card isn't shielded enough. I don't know.

Yea I do, but it's on my phone, ATI is exchanging it, and it fucked up my computer as well...so some other stuff may come of this

If I had read this earlier I could've helped out. I would've capped the OTA DTV broadcast with my HD tuner. Although they don't broadcast this show in HD, it would've looked better than regular analog.
