I have an FM transmitter, which worked GREAT when I lived in BFE, but now that I live in Detroit, it's useless. As a piggyback to Junior's question -- is there a cheap/easy way to install some sort of line-in? I just have a factory radio / CD player in my car.

There is a device made by pioneer i believe that will install in your dash and give you a line in. Most electronics stores like Circuit City or Crutchfield will have it.

Any idea what it's called? I couldn't find it, and I don't really know what I'm looking for.

you need an fm transmitter if you don't have a tape player

Really? Seems like there should be some sort of aftermarket device that could be installed. Then again, I don't know much about this stuff.

I have an auxilary input on my system so i baught a 2$ miniplug and i can connect my ipod, psp, or anything that has anything with playback and an input jack.

some systems have that but its in the back, you can get a looong cord, only premium systems have it i think.
