For all of yall hip hop heads out there, I got a question....
Who's the best new artist out right now?
For me, it's [b37d27e827e]Lupe Fiasco[/b37d27e827e], this man is a beast and is rising fast....His word-play is phenomenal and IMO he's the leader of the new era of hip hop, where gangster rap is going to take a back seat and mc's are going to bring it back to the old days, when rap was fun and easy going but deep and meaningful....I don't know about yall, but to me that's refreshing as hell and I hope that the revolution doesn't stop....Don't get me wrong, gangster rap was alright and I enjoyed it almost the same (it's the style that introduced me to the game), but the creativity of brand new gangster rappers is getting stale and I can't listen to it anymore....I would much rather listen to some fresh content....
Back to Lupe, he's rhymes are way too nice and his flow is incredible....The beats are always hot and his album is coming out soon so [b37d27e827e]don't sleep people[/b37d27e827e]....Nobody is fucking with his creativity and he's as real as they come....I can go on and on but yall get the point so....

the Roots have a fantastic album coming out soon, as does Jdilla (rip) among others. tomorrow i'll post up a few songs for anyone who would listen to quality hiphop but doesn't know exactly where to look for it.

Yup, that Root's album is FIRE!!!!
In every sense of that word, I only got to listen to it once but I already know that i'm going to buy it once comes out....
I haven't heard any Jdilla yet though, I've heard him mentioned but never sampled him yet...If you could post a couple of things, I'll put some karma your way...
I like seeing that Dangerdoom in your profile, that's an amazing tribute to Adult Swim, MF Doom had me laughing the whole way....
Has anybody heard "Daydream" by Lupe yet?

Check out each one of these guys. You will prolly like them all. Most of them are not that huge either but are 10x better than most out there

I don't see how because those lyrics are sick as something out of the world, the beat is a little weak though....I guess some people are into beats more so shrug ....For me it's all about what mood I feel....
Check out Daydream by Lupe, I got it posted a little ways up, everybody should dig that song, at least if your into hip hop...Try to figure out what hes talking about in both verses....
