Games for kids? [Small] On an old windows 98 comp...

At work, someone needs me to get his computer some games for kids. Flash sites are laggy sometimes so they need to be downloaded. Name the game and ill aquire it. THe kid is like 8 years old, maybe 9. I dunno, I saw him once. But his dad keeps askng me to get him some games for kIds D lol, Both are computer illiterate obviously. Any game a small kid would enjoy. +krma If you help..

edit I tried stacraft, But they were wtf confused. SO lets have something simple and straite forward =) lol

Bejeweled 2 is easy though. All you gotta do is make three or more of the same jewel in a row. It's extremely simple. D

i found it easily by googling about a year ago, cant find my copy on my pc now tho. it wont be on torrents but it will be on random sites D

Yes I tried teaching him starcraft =( lol I failed. The kids 7 Btw. Oh well ill show him Bejeweled. And Oregon trail? Come on i doubt he'll figure that out till hes like 11 or 12. I loved that ga me myself when I was around that age.. But then again I got my snes when I was young so I got into gaming fast. Also kyke, Ill try googling that game you mentioned.

There's that one 3D dinosaur game. I played it when I was little on Win95 I think. It comes with 3D glasses eve. I couldn't find it on eBay.....lemme check on Amazon....

DUDE!! Is that the one where in the beginning, they have the big dinorsaur running at you and its 3d, but when u get to the main screen, there are videos of dinosaurs.. and then theres that game where you have to collect the dinosaurs before the world explodes? I used to love that game. Its called 3D Dinosaur Adventure.

Yeah....I think that's it. All I remember is going through a dinosaur museum. It's pretty fun and educational. That's a good one.

Sorry to threadjack, but does anybody remember a game, I used to play it in 2001-2002 (I think), on a mac, and it was that you were a guy and walk around and shoot enemies. You would have a gun in your hand attached to it, and I think he had 1 red eye. You would shoot airplanes in the sky and everything. Anybody remember? I used to play it in the 7th grade and it was awesome. ++KMA for help

God I Loved those side scrolling shooters ^. You get the bad ass power ups and end up shooting beams /missles covering the whole screen D But if you die [usualyl in 1 hit] You go back to the most basic weapon meaning GAME OVER in the later levels D. The comp blows, I reformated it to WIndows 2k pro, But I spent 2 hours finding drivers for the damn thing. Then i went to downloads.com and downloaded all the freeware arcade/puzzle games D That'll keep him occupied although i may download the game ffactory reccomended for myself. +krma

Anyhow - best game EVER for kids or adults I ever came across is called The NeverHood. It was a weird little claymation puzzle game but even if the kid can't figure out the puzzles (or needs help) it's still a cool world to explore. Trying to find the game is going to be really hard though - try EBay I guess. I managed to download the ISO somewhere, I can't remember where. Worst comes to worst I could throw the ISO up on my server for you to download.
