I know how to rip youtube and all that jazz, but I really want to rip some music videos off of MTV's Overdrive, and it's been killing me trying to figure it out. If you can help me, you will get major karma. Thanks much

Like ist says, you download the page, or do a view source, and copy the embedded stream url. Then input it into a downloader like NetTransport, and it should save it for you.

Right now I am just trying to do any of the videos, and ill worry about finding the one i want after i know how to do this...

Well, I see that when visiting http//www.mtv.com/overdrive/player.jhtml?launchedFrom=/overdrive/ that it created a asx file in the temporary internet files folder called
overdrive;gateway=features;section_1=mtv_playlists_on_overdrive;section_2=mtv25_extra_curricular_activities;video_id=99561;mode=live;sz=416x312;slate[1].asx
When I view other videos, I get a similar asx created in that folder. Open that asx in notepad, and you'll find the mms urls in it.
