We're in the 80's here, but the only reason we escape insanely high temps. is because of our elevation (~1mi.)

I just got back from Florida, and I think it was hotter there, but it seems worse here in Missouri. We dont know if its because of the humidity here, or if its just because in Florida you can hit up the beach, but it sucks.

Ya rly. This little shithole town is going to have a hard time coping with the demand for power and if they can get through the next few days without losing any, I'll be very very impressed.

Heh, I was listening on the radio about how Yonkers and other parts of NYC are going to like explode from the stress of keeping all the buildings cool.

Having just come back from Costa Rica, the heat is bad but not enough for me to feel uncomfortable. At this point I'm just used to feeling sweaty and humid and hot. (And sexy.)

I'd much rather be in the south or west right now, as the North East is just humid and sticky.

I bet you all wish you were in Alaska now... Summer temperature here is 70-75 and it feels GREAT. The perfect weather. Not mucky or anything. Nice and warm in the day, and mild and a bit breezy at night and the air is FRESH. I love it!

Glad to see you still hang around here Absolut Xero.. I haven't heard from you in a while.

I'm about an hour north of the city, in a small town that's just stupid enough to be considered hick but just close enough to a world metropolis to sucker all the intelligent people in staying as well.

I, for one, can't wait to leave and never look back.
