How Do I play Halo 2 on xbox 360?

Is there a way to just start a room and have random people join?

I only see party room creation. WTF


Also i only see quickmatch and omnimatch but it keeps saying i dont have maps availible for that selection.

Whats going on

You might have to download the "new" map packs that were released.

I got the new maps.

HOW CAN I HOST A 16 player SLAYER GAME and have people im not fri3ends with join.

I choose matchmaking and I only see team battles

Don't you just create a custom game? Then everyone can play on their own, but with teams I believe it's as many players as you would like.

My brother would know for sure, I'll ask if you can't figure it out.

Go to Optimatch and then go to Team Slayer or BTB Slayer. Team Slayer = 4v4 and it goes to 50. BTB Slayer aka Big Team Battle Slayer is 8v8 and usually goes to 100. You have to press the "white" button aka the left bumper to talk in a Halo 2 game online too. Make sense?

you cant just have random people join

It's all matchmaking, and friends lists.

So start building a friendslist of people that play, and like to play custom games if thats what you want to do.

Matchmaking is set up though so that most of the fun gametypes are available
