Shamash is the owner of ItsActuallyFree and so I'm guessing if you are registered there, he's using the passwords from his site and trying to log into FIPG accounts with that same password. So if your password matches the one that you use on It'sActuallyFree, then that's why he has access. Everyone that has an account there has been experiencing this it seems so this is the only conclusion I can come to...

While it's certainly plausible that a site owner with access to clear-text passwords on their site could try to matchup their customers with FiPG users and try their passwords here, it doesn't explain some other suspicious activity we've been investigating. For instance we have seen evidence of account hijacks in people that are known NOT to have ever even clicked his link, let alone signed up.
BTW he couldn't snag your FiPG password just from clicking on his link.
We're still looking into this and will be plugging any security holes we come across. In the meantime I will offer 2 crucial pieces of advice
1. Change your FiPG password immediately!
2. NEVER use the same password between freebie signups and FiPG (or any other site where the hijacking of your account could cause trouble). It's best if you use a different password for every site, if you can manage that many, but at least have different ones than here. This will prevent some potentially embarrasing situations where something thinks it's actually you scamming or saying something stupid. ;)

Yes, he got KeithA's password, and with that access he licouldli have changed people's passwords and logged in as them, but then they wouldn't have been able to login themselves later. And we know they've logged back in. Nobody mentioned having to go through password recovery to get back on here, so I'm doubting he's telling the whole truth.

He's not. I had posted AFTER he used my account to make a fake post. I did not have to change my password to log back in. I used the same password I had used when signing up for ItsActuallyFree. He's a liar, plain and simple. If it hadn't of been for Frank I would have never have known. He emailed me and changed my PW for me. I had made posts prior and after my account had been accessed by this loser so he could have only gotten my information from one place, ItsActuallyFree.
