uTorrent is Windows only at the moment. Someone was porting uTorrent to Mac OS X and Linux, but development stopped. A couple of clients I can think of right now are Bits on Wheels[=http//www.bitsonwheels.com/]Bits on Wheels and Transmission[=http//transmission.m0k.org]Transmission.
I have not used Bits on Wheels, but I have heard good things about it. I've used Transmission for GNU/Linux though and it was pretty good.
It should also be noted Transmission is banned on some trackers for not obeying tracker rules.

[quote82f3a9f964]Vurlix is no longer working on the OS X port, so none is currently in the works. A Linux and OSX port is still planned for the future.

However, it is possible to run µTorrent under Wine and Cedega. See the above system requirements question for more details.[/quote82f3a9f964]

I like Tomato Torrent, you can't use Transmission with OiNK, and Azureus is a resource hog.

You are wrong. Transmission does not work with OiNK, Tomato does.

I use screen + command line.

I have $bittorrent aliased to /usr/bin/python /usr/bin/bt/btdownloadcurses.py --minport 1024 --maxport 65000

Then I just need to type $bittorrent http//blah.com/movie.torrent

Then I can detach and check my torrent progress from anywhere.

^-C kills it.
