I'm looking for a sound card that has not only good sound, but also has internal pins so I can hook up my case ports. Any recommendations?

I've always wondered how that card sounds like compared to an Audigy xfi or 2

I'm not a fan of Creative, for certain business and technical reasons, but I broke my several-year boycott of Creative to buy an X-Fi Platinum when they first came out last year. Creative has since pissed me off again so I'm not sure I'd buy another of their cards on principle alone, but I have to say the X-Fi sounds awfully sweet. That simulated CMSS 3D headphones surround using normal stereo headphones is amazing.
