Looking for a new LCD monitor for my pc

I was thinking about buying a LCD monitor for my pc, any sugestions?

Under $200, newegg, zipzoomfly?

i no nothing about LCD's and was wondering what one's a great one for a good price. Used for gaming, video watching and misc. stuff

Just beware the goofy resolution of a 19" widescreen. I couldn't stand 900 vertical pixels. If 19" was the biggest I could afford, it'd have to be conventional 43 @ 1280x1024.

I don't eve like 20" widescreens at 1680x1050. For me I consider 1200 vertical a minimum.

$189??!!! Crap, that was a helluva deal. LCD prices are falling through the floor. I got the previous version of that same model (2001FP) last year at the then "great deal" of a little over $500 shipped.

If I had seen the 2007 for that price, I would have bought at least one more.

Probably not, not enough desk room. ) I would have bought it to replace the slowly failing CRT on my Linux machine. Which is what the 19" Samsung I'm waiting for from Freepay was for, but by the time they ship it, 42" LCD's will be the norm. roll

And my daughter has been bugging me for an LCD for her comp ever since I bought the wife one for hers. So I can still use a couple more.
