Anybody got a trick for getting refs?

lililiI know that usually when someone posts something like this, they are told to do a search because this gets asked all the time. I've done searches, and it hasn't really helped me at all, so please bear with this post. Thanks

I am having a lot of trouble getting refs. I don't like trading because you either have to spend a lot of money or be dishonest by signing up for an offer, then cancelling it. Does anybody have any methods that have worked for them to get some refs, preferrably that doesn't cost much money.

Stand on the side of a major road holding a sign that reads "Will drop pants for greens". That should help. Worked for me and I even found the cardboard for my sign on the side of the road as well.



Just thought of another one....plaster your referral link all over this message board. That usually works too.


Hijack a plane and cover the US in leaflets that have your link on them.

Buy a few cans of catchy spray paint, put your reflink on a url redirect and then grafiti the redirect on the nearest wal-mart.

get a domain name and forward it to your ref link.

Make a bunch of LED Throwies and tag your ref link all over town!

Walk around your neighborhood and go house to house forcing people (whatever your method of choice is) sign up. Works like a charm.

I own the domain offersforfree.com and its just sitting here. I don't use it since I have two. my other one redirects to my ref link so I guess I shouldnt post it.

Tatoo it across your girls back an that way when other people are tappin' that from behind they will know your link

I'm not telling, but as of today I have 1890 refs for psps4free and only 3 greens. evil evil evil evil because of OOD, I doubt I'll ever finish the site.

I got a lot of ref sites done totally free, and trust me if anyone has any methods to completing them that gives them an edge they aren't telling.

Dude if getting refs is too difficult for you why not try a DIY site.
do 6 offers yourself insted of getting 5 refferals for your ipod or whatever....

When i was deep in the ref game. I used myspace to get free refferals

Rent banner space on websites.

You can take the infamous quote/custom title of "Will Suck Dick for Friends" that PNAA had and apply it to getting refs.

I completed 5 freepay sites back last fall totally free. before then I traded a lot, and I trade more now. For a while I had a good method.


I'll tell you the way I finished my 360 site as it won't affect me much.

I bought a redirect url afreexbox360.com. Something easy I can speak to someone and they can type in.

I made a huge awesome never ending game on halo 2, and the game was really fun and crazy and would always stay full. I would leave my xbox on for like 2 days straight and people would come in and play, and then send me friend invites to join.

anyhow I named the game afreexbox360.com. So that got me a lot of traffic and every couple hours id jump in and ask people if they wanted to know how to do it, and you'd get a surprising number of refs that way(about 1 in 4 people I spoke to signed up, and about 1 in 3 of them went green). I'd just level with them and explain the whole damn process, otherwise they don't believe it. I'd also just mention it pregame in like rumble pit games or something and tell people a little about it and then tell them to talk to me in postgame to learn more.

I got my 360 site and 2 of my friends finished in around 2 weeks.

I will tell you my trick for getting dozens of greens for the price of one single green.

I used to get some refs off of Xbox Live...

And I used to do different things but now the resources have been exhausted so I just resorted to trading.

I paint my body with my ref link and run down the street naked, that seems to do it.
