Amazon.com woes.

I love Amazon. I do. But there are some arbitrary things that just piss me off, especially because these things don't seem to be listed anywhere; you have to find out the hard way about them.

The first is the cart automatically deletes anything after a month or so. I lost a full list of books I wanted to get because of this. Whatever, not such a big deal; I can use the Wish List.

Except, I discovered yesterday, the limit for items on the WL is 38; after that it starts deleting the things on the bottom (the oldest items; the ones I was least likely to remember).

Am I just a kook who reads over all this stuff or does Amazon's system seem to lack the necessary warning (such as "you have filled your wish list. Do you wish to add this book to your list?") to keep my lists handy?

Eh, I'm just bitching about having lost track of the items I wanted to buy from Amazon for the second time. ?

the honor system has not been touched in 4 years and about 80% of its features are completely nonfunctional

Are you sure about the automatic deleting? Maybe it's just stuff in the "save for later" section, but I have things in my cart from August 05 ?

I've been a sales associate for a while now and their payments have come later and later. And now they are quarterly. I don't think they are getting any worse, I just think that they need some fresh updates.

I guess it's pretty obvious that I'm now a full-blown kook-cicle.

just write down the books you want on a piece of paper then it wont get deleted? seems to work great as long as your house doesnt burn down.

sometimes when i get books from amazon they have little creases or blemishes in them, and that makes me mad.

I am such a fucking jackass. It looks like there was a second page on my wish list, and all my older entries weren't deleted but rather bumped over and out of view.
