video converting/ipoding/connecting help

im using videora ipod converter to change my movies to ipod format

1)i have some movies in that windows media player format...that i can just convert easily using the app but i have some that are in like 2 pieces (part 1 and part 2). howd i string them together so i get 1 file before i convert to ipod format?

2)i also have some movies that i got off my dvds but theyre in like 24 different things such as video_ts and vts_01_0, vts_02_1, etc. wahtd i do to those so i can convert them?

and is mpeg-4/320x24-/768kbps stereo/128kbps good enough quality?

I wasn't ignoring your post, I just don't have a video iPod. But since you PM'd me directly, I'll help what I can

1) You can use any video editing program to append the videos into a single file. I use Nero Vision Express to do this (comes with Nero Ultimate Suite), but there are numerous others that will do it too.

2) You'll need to transcode your DVD videos from MPEG2 to MPEG4 or whatever format the video iPod requires. Again numerous utilities exist to do this. I'm assuming you've decrypted them already though, you can't just copy the .VOB'surl==http://=http:///url straight from the DVD since they are encrypted.

Someone else may reply with more specifics, but you can refer to http//www.videohelp.com and http//www.doom9.org for all of your video needs.

You could probably try Windows Movie Maker to put the two videos together...I dont know how well the quality is but you could try some different settings.
