Car Mounting 2

Ok i posted a thread about car mounting the other day, but there was so much other info in it and the posts were so long i decided to make a different thread with a similar but different question.

Has anyone tried a product like this iPod Mount[=http//shop.store.yahoo.com/semsons-inc/ipligsocmoun.html] iPod Mount?

It would be the solution i really need. cradle, charger, NO FM transmitter, and aux line out.

However i e-mailed a couple different companies who sell it to ask them if it will work on my 4g 40gig skinned iPod. One company says no it shouldn't fit since it's designed for the naked ipod and gave me other product ideas (really ugly mounts too IMHO). The other company i e-mailed responded saying that it'll fit no problem, i won't have to modify it or remove my skin. so i don't know who to believe the pics from both sites are identical, along with product description is the same to the letter. The site that has it on sale for $10 less is the one that said it won't work...

So my questions are
1. anyone tried it, of so quality or design, power, holding the ipod, sound output
2. if you tried it what kind of ipod did you do it with, and skinned or not.
