i was super excited when i first started getting people for my free ipod. and now that i got 5, and I'm pending for approval the 2nd time around, i really just don't care anymore. I'm glad i got my 5 referrals finished, if i hadn't, i know i wouldn't have the inspiration now. I'll prolly be re-excited when it ships... if re-excited is a word.

oh hell yeah, but just with all this waiting, the novelty of free stuff seems to lose its... novelty. i mean, deep down i guess it still doesn't feel like ill ever get the damn ipod. i got the hard part done, but the waiting is even worse.

i know what you mean i started this Oct 24 but at the same time if i would have saved money out of my paycheck i still wouldnt have it. I am really broke right now and once i do get my ipod i will be very happy. But yeah the wait sucks.

stiles05s

27-12-2004 22:06:22

dude, the game with the little tanks on each side of the screen, and all you had to do was angle the shot to hit the opponent, that was my personal favorite. i don't think it had a name, it was so shitty.

I was always the best at number munchers in elementary school. I also loved the game with the monkeys throwing bananas that explode, trying to take out the other one (they were on skyscrapers)! I was pretty good at that one too.

We only got to play Carmen San Diego when we were in our "P.A.C.E." group. Can't remember what that stands for, but it was for the SUPER smart kids in the grade and we got out of class once a week to play games and brain teasers. It was so fun.

God, I'm a dork. oops

Remember the CHEESY song?

"Dare to keep a kid off drugs
Dare to keep a kid off dope
Dare to give a kid some help
Dare to give a kid some hope
Help us"

We just had fun sucking the helium out of the balloons after we "graduated."

I don't remember it that well, but I grew up in Gary, IN so that explains why it was a "big deal." Dare was about 12 years ago for me.

But aren't you really young? (Really young to me = under 15)

That's so sad...I think they should move it from 5th grade to 1st. Kids are getting into drugs younger and younger...next thing you know, there will be 8 year old girls having sex after shooting up the heroine that they hide inside their Barbie dolls. roll
