Im actually getting a new entertainment center this week and going to wrap all those cables up.

Reccommend any good entertainment centers that are east to move?

Also i bought the stand on a computer forum for $45 shipped. The guy got it with his tv and mounted the thing instead. $45 is not bad considering they are over $100

I'm rearranging and setting up my tv as soon as my wall mount gets here. My 360 should be back from repair sometime next week.

That is the main family room HT, I have a bedroom setup with the CSC 42" Panasonic Plasma on the wall, but haven't finished tricking it out yet.

Thanks D We also have a lto of other systems but we have so many TV's in the house we split them all up, lol. We also have a widescreen HDTV in the living room and a 22 LCD TVs in both my art room and bedroom. I can't wait for the Wii to come out so I can hook it up in my art room - it's going to be all mine! P

I'll show you my setup in about a month when its complete...

Great setup but why do you have to ruin it with the last one on the list? Im getting the 50 inch model of the SXRD for my setup soon can't afford the 60".

If you're referring to the PS2, I wouldn't say it ruins it -- it is a fine console (better than XBOX1 IMO). Besides, I bought it for my kids back when it was first released -- stood in line way past midnight at WallyWorld. ) Never was interested in owning an XBOX, will probably get an XBOX360 and almost certainly a PS3 (if they ever showup) at some point, even though I'm not a huge console gamer. I'd much rather play games on a PC, but there is still a place for consoles, especially when you have a big HDTV. ;)

Try a modded xbox, they have a lot of insane programs espically since you are a coder and linux fan. Linux has been ported over and is constantly being worked on by a active community for the xbox. If you are interested in retro games and emulation you can find it on a modded xbox. http//xbox-scene.com/ is a good website resource.

Are you happy with the TV i have read a lot of good reports on it but I am still unsure of upgrading to a none-CRT type tv.

Ive been a member of Xbox-scene for years. My xbox is juiced with everything known to man. XBMC, NES, SNES, NEOGEO, etc

I prefer a modded ps2. So many better games on the Ps2... Xbox has no good games. Cept maybe Halo 1 + 2 / Ninja Gaiden, But I don't even like halo XD, I prefer rpgs ^^

Why would I want a modded XBOX to run Linux when I have a much more powerful Linux HTPC sitting there? P

Seriously, XBOX (modded or not) offers nothing that I can't do a whole lot better on a PC. Since I don't care as much for XBOX games, with a few exceptions, I just never cared to have one. A 360 is a more attractive option, however, so I'll probably get one to tide me over until the PS3 arrives in 2010 or so. )

Extremely happy. Best TV I've ever looked at, it beats plasma to death IMO. The best picture you'll get outside of a CRT.

Yeah but he already has an HTPC so he doesn't need anything else for emulation/linux/media center.

I have both xboxes but most of the games are PC-ports or vice versa. PS2 has better games still coming out than the 360.
