Well it makes sense to me.
Previously if you clicked on the latest poster from outside a thread, it would take you to their profile. Now, you click on the date/time and it takes you to that post.
I've been secretly asking Jesus for this feature for a long time. I'll settle for Admin adding it though.

couldn't you make it so the names and the date, so you can click on either? or is that not possible? i guess maybe you don't want it that way? shrug

I still dont see the stuff I used to like the "new post" icon outside and stuff...But thats only in firefox. It works fine in IE
i also dont see the "post reply" buttons, or sig buttons...(In firefox)

Hang on, I thought there was a little icon that was linked to the last post next to the time?
At the moment the full date is linked to the last post, which is fine, but the username isn't linked to their profile. Ideally, we should have both.
