Anyone use Trillian?

I just installed this program the other day and so far its pretty neat. However, I have one major gripe with it that I dont know how to fix.

When I first start up Trillain, sounds (like incoming/outgoing IMs, etc) play just fine. However, once another program starts running on top of Trillian, the sounds dont go off anymore and wont until I restart Trillian. For example, if my screensaver will go on and when I come back...no more Trillian sounds. Or, when I play my game, no more sounds.

Only Trillian does this as I was using AIM Triton and it worked just fine.

So can anyone help me out here? I tried searching through the preferences and I didnt find anything that would help me.

Thanks

Trillian seems to be a memory hog when people sign in/out , i don't know why and it doens;t really effect me but I can certainly tell. I'm gonna venture to guess that your computer has too much on its mind to process sounds.

I use it and I wish I could turn the sounds off. D It doesn't seem to affect my memory at all. I'd rather use Gaim, but all the sudden gaim stopped working and even after reinstall it didn't work...

Well my computer is certainly capable of handling Trillain...no doubt. I just like the sounds and its very useful when Im playing a game and I get an IM.

Also, Im not doing anything wrong by asking for help, am I?
