I'm messing with this guy on Craigslist like I'm actually interested in this... Totally rediculous. He told me if I took off the 5.1 surround sound headphones I would save $300. It would be great to get 30 or 40 people to do the same.

THE FASTEST GAMERS COMPUTER ON THE PLANET! - $4922

If you are a true gamer, and are looking for the most outrageous, fastest, highest speed machine that will make every one of your friends hate you, nothin’ will compare with this computer….Thisurl==http://=http:///url is the one for you. Forget Alienware high prices for a lesser machine…this is THE machine custom built by a 13 year computer professional.

Here’s the poop

Tritton Gamer’s headphones (true 5.1 surround sound) This is for the times your neighbors down the street start complaining about the noise.

High End Computer Case (you get to pick which one you want)

Plextor DVD/CD burner (yep….dualurl==http://=http:///url layer)

Gigabyte liquid cooling system (never worry about smokin’ your system again….andurl==http://=http:///url it’s whisper quite. This also cools the Video Card.

AMD2 Athlon 64FX-62 Processor. There is one king of processors….andurl==http://=http:///url this is it. It has won every comparo ever thrown at it.

WD Raptor 10,000 RPM 74 Gb Harddrive (Did I mention 10,000 RPM yet?)

Seagate 120 Gb SATA harddrive (just in case you need a tad more storage)

Kingston Hyper X (1gig) DDR2 8000) RAM

Biostar Tforce4 Moboard. Yes, the ASUS is supposedly faster….buturl==http://=http:///url it’s glitchy

Neovo 19” Gamer’s LCD Monitor 4ms (highest rated for gamers)

Creative Labs Xtreme Music PCI Sound Card

Klipsch Promedia Ultra 5.1 Sound System (buy some bandaids for your ears baby)

Ultra X-finity 600 watt power supply (simply the best)

GeForce 7950 GX2 Dual GPU Video Card (one friggin’ GIG of video RAM)

Oh…the price….youurl==http://=http:///url ready? $4927.00

You read the specs right….thisurl==http://=http:///url system has a 19” monitor, AND surround sound included in the price. Alienware has a lesser computer without a monitor or speakers for a whopping $5895.00

Besides getting much more for much less, I offer the following

Free delivery and setup
2 Year Parts and Labor Warranty
2 Years one-on-one technical support
2 Year warranty on all installed software

someone should offer to sell one to him for the cost it would actually be to build one

Vector

10-07-2006 09:09:23

he is just listing all the things he thinks would be best and if anyone would actually pay him 1000 more than it actually costs to make he will make it.

the fact that he provides warranty is kind of funny, he must do this a lot (or try at least)

You could build that system and pay about half. Its only got 1GB of RAM and the PSU blows. FX-62 is very nice, I will admit...
