RealMedia to MP4

Hi, does anyone know how to encode RM/RMVB files into MP4 format? Please give me some suggested programs and instructions.

Some mp4's work on my psp but some dont work on my ipod.. why is this?

The same program will work or use http//www.videora.com/en-us/Converter/iPod/ which is the same program with a skin that says ipod, possibly a few other changes.
