Plasma TV

I want to get a 42inch plasma tv, and i am pretty picky about quality but since i know that a truley great quality tv would cost 2k+ so if you guys know anywhere i can get a descent hd plasma tv for <1500 i would appreciate it.


btw, some people get them for free.... what sites are those and how many thousand refs do you need to get?

lcd is worse quality than plasma right? and then there is DLP which is also worse? im a newbie to all this

btw, should i be looking at contrast ratio?

LCD is not worse quality than a plasma. And if you do a DIY site you won't need thousands of refs...
