Yeah, I want to sell mine as well. I'm not sure what to expect considering what you're going to lose through shipping.

i was thinking pick up only.......but it might limit your odds dramatically on selling it.

I tried to sell it twice on ebay. Both times the $#%^ers didn't pay. evil
So I'm probably going to keep it.

How much were the winning bids for? Just wondering since im waiting for my EFG Plasma. Want to see if its even worth waiting for. Might not be if it takes me forever to find a paying bidder too.

These shouldn't be that hard to ship, really. Some folks have shipped them UPS for $120 or so, although I wouldn't ship something so fragile and valuable via UPS. Call a freight company and get a quote, but it shouldn't cost more than $150. You would of course charge the buyer for whatever shipping costs, so you wouldn't lose anything due to shipping. The question would be how much you can get for the plasma.

Consider advertising it locally (check Craigs List if there's a listing for your area) first, and then if it doesn't sell you can jump on eBay.

You would lose to shipping if they only wanted to spend say $1500 and have to spend $200 on shipping.

True, but only if the buyer didn't want to pay that. I'm just saying charge shipping just like any online vendor would do.

Asking $1500 + $200 shipping for this plasma would not be an attractive deal for the buyer anyway, since you can buy it from online vendors for less than that. But $1500 shipped would be a pretty good deal, and would net the seller $1350+, not a bad take for a free plasma. ;)

They should have sent checks. That would make this whole mess a lot easier... ;)

just look up the auctions for the same tv you're selling
type in the model # and then click "completed auctions"
it's simple and you could've done it in 3 seconds

that'll tell you how much your tv is worth

When I first saw this, I thought you were talking about getting paid to give plasma.....
