I normally use my iBook, but my Kodak EasyShare dock is set up on my PC. I'm trying to upload some pictures, but it's been at the Windows XP boot up screen for like 20 minutes now. I've tried turning it off, turning it back on, everything, and it just stays there.

Try safe mode, then restore it to an earlier date.

I tried doing last good configuration, still nothing.
I don't even know how to restore.

I tried booting in safe mode, and a screen name up with this
multi(0disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(2)\WINDOWS\System32\DRIVERS\pci.sys
and it keeps going down the screen with other stuff in place of the pci.sys

Those are just drivers and OS stuff being loaded. Doesn't it eventually get to a Windows screen?
You can do a restore by entering safe mode, then in the Start-Menu->All programs->Accesories->System Tools->System Restore.

No.
sometimes it may be that pasting the file helps. sometimes memory is bad, i had the problem and I had to switch the order of my memory sticks or something. anyway, ignore this and do what tsj has above )

Turn it off and try reseating everything, if that fails, then you probably don't have your monitor on.

pci.sys isn't mssing or anything right? There's no error messsages when trying to get into safe mode?
You can also do a repair install if nothing else works.
