Just have to brag. In order to work more efficiently, FusionCash purchased three of these badboys (one for each of our employees). Here's what mine looks like

http//www.bar-of-soap.com/images/monitor.jpg[" alt=""/img3e71094e28]

At first it looked awful. Then I got my a resolution hacking program to force my laptop to output in the monitor's native resolution, and it looked a lot better. Until my computer arrives here in my swank West Village apartment, I'm stuck on VGA (which sucks). DVI should be just plain gorgeous.

Native resolution 1680x1050

Price About $1150 total for three monitors shipped 2nd day air to three different addresses, including tax.

$1,150 total??

Looks pretty sweet. You realise how much better I could credit trades if I had one of those bad boys?

Nice monitor! But I don't see how this makes your work more efficient...you should set up multiple monitors, then your work would be more efficient.

What's your resolution hack?

Meh, you can have your 2007FPW at that paltry 1680x1050 res. P

A 2407FPW in all it's 1920x1200 glory will be mine, though.

Oh yes.

It will be mine.

/drools, wakes up

In the meantime my 2001FPW will have to suffice. )

i had that size but it actually felt "too small" for me...got the 30" widescreen and i haven't looked back ever since. now when i look at my employees / friends 19 or 20" monitors, i have to squint my eyes haha

I think I'm going to get dual 1907FP or dual 2007FP. 1" is $160 more per monitor (

Especially when veriyfing users its useful to have two or more browsers open. The widescreen makes that really easy - no switching back and forth needed. I also already have a 17" samsung (from freepay) so I'll be using dualies.

a program called PowerStrip

I looked and all of the coupons and stuff were non stackable. I got them for $344.25 each which is 25% off. Add tax, and they threw in free 2nd day air. I'm pretty satisfied with the price and quality. The stand is really nice - tilt, swivel, up and down and all really solid and smooth.

I'm pretty sure these were cheaper because they are trying to clear out their old revisions (A00 and A01) which exhibit banding. I got an A02 which is lucky... not sure if there are even any A00's or A01's left or how long they're going to continue discounting these.

Wow! nice! Although I would of personally went with Dual monitors, Two 17 inchers is what i use. Very efficient in Video Editing. >.<. Using Dualies on 20.1 inchers would be aswome as well.

No you're not. I've been using my 17inch CRT KDS monitor for years now. wink

I've upgraded my computer, but didn't have money to get a new LCD, and besides, i don't play games on my computer anymore, that's what the 360 is for P . The only bad thing is, the monitor is so old, it has a huge thick dark ring in the center so i have to turn the contrast and brightness up to make it less apparent, haha.

actually, i have a 17inch CRT at home, its not even flatscreen! there is no LCD with CRT quality on the market though, so I am keeping my friend (monitor)

CRTs are great. I used to have a fucking sweet 19" sony trinitron CRT with a vertically-flat tube (that is, most tubes curve on both axes - horizontal and vertical, but mine only curved horizontally). it eventually crapped out on me, though. bitch weighed about 8000 pounds.

CRTs just take up too much space. I couldn't even fit one where I have my computer...

ya rly my sister bought a 17 inch LCD (back when they were expensive) for about 300 bucks and the picture sucked soooo much ass she sent it back the next day and bought a 17 inch CRT for 1/3 of the price

Yeah, my 17" from freepay sucks ass. This one's about 100x better quality-wise. It'll work as a secondary monitor though.
