Help with tattoos

I have two tattoos already but I want another on the side of my torso, problem is I cannot find ANY pictures of tattoos that are on someones side. I wanted my name faded black and white...so I guess I am asking for pictures of tattoos on someones side, or someone who has what I am looking for.

why not a "want hepatitis?" in big bold letters with an arrow to your crotch? ;)

i would suggest u avoid more tattoos, though, they are expensive to take off in 10 yrs

but if u need help...why not ask the person who will do it if they have any ideas? they may be able to sketch u something first

Generaly speaking, tattoo shops now are alot cleaner than back in the day where you prolly had hep. if you had some ink. Majority of the places have pre-packed sterilized gear thats one use...so that comment was quite...well stupid.

And if you like what you get, why would you need it removed in 10yrs? Yes it may be wrinkley, but its still what you got 10 yrs prior.

TryinToGetPaid- My friend just got I guess you'd call it a wrap around his entire stomache area...like a design above his belly button, all around, wraping his body...he sent me a picture, I don't have it anymore...damned aim, but when I talk to him next I'll get him to send me that pic again...I think thats what you mean...accept his goes all the way around his body, not just the side/'underarm'.

just to make sure we were clear on that.

in truth, hepatitis and other blood borne illnesses that have been associated with tattooing are possible, especially if places re-use their equipment without sterilization. this DOES happen. that is why you ask someone to open a NEW set of needles in front of you.
as for getting them removed, if you think that you will or are or have been happy with every choice you have made/will make/are making during your younger years I suggest you drink coffee and wake up, or stop lieing to yourself. we all do things we either want to change or wish we had not done. tattoos are something that can be removed. i am not saying don't do it, i am just clarifying.

Don't drive a car...you could get in an accident and die! Don't swim...you could drown! This is what you sound like to me, and probably the majority of other people who've read this discussion. If you don't want a tattoo, don't get one...but don't preach to others about it.

I will likely get a second, but I'm unsure of any more than that. The second will probably be very small, and I know what I want...just not 100% sure where I want it. I can assure you that I won't regret this decision, I took over a year to decide on what I wanted (I wanted this to begin with, but spent over a year thinking and looking at other designs, just to be sure) and then got it done and told him to leave the script out because I wasn't 100% sure it was what I wanted. I then went back about a year later and got the script I originally chose added (FREE! ;) )

Ohh, I totally agree, if your rash about ink, your gonna regret it. I don't, although I was quick to decide to get it...my friend got his 2nd, and I went with him cause we went mail box smashing after, I mean...drove like nice kids.

I was looking through the places books, and I saw one I liked, and recalled upon what my mother said earlier....don't get a tattoo, so I got it...Its not something too corny, but...mer, image at bottom of post.

I still have found no tattoo pictures. I want it on my side, from my armpit to my waist, but no idea what I want there....

Thanks ghondi. You plan on getting any color on that? I'm keeping mine as is...I thought about getting some red/black shading on it to mimic how it looked when I first got it; but I decided against it.

What word? I dont know yet I am still in the thinking process of this whole thing....as far as when I am older? I have a math problem (1 + 3 = 13) on my ass, I am not worried about it because people will not be able to see it under my clothes anyways and I think I am going to stop it a little lower of my armpit than that

well, good luck deciding on a word if you dont use your name. I just suggest you think it over like FON did for atleast a year. But i doubt it would be an issue if you got a word that was meaningful to you.

Hey that's a really cool place for a tattoo. I've wanted the same thing for 1/2 my life, since I was 14, and I think I might actually get it this summer. I was going to get it on my back but I like the idea of the side. Hm.

hmm, didnt think i was preaching. saying have someone open the needles in front of you and realize that some people want their tattoos removed 10 years later is not preaching it is suggesting people take this into consideration. thinking about the consequence is key. if you reread my post that is what i was saying, or at least trying to say. you can die doing anything, doesn't mean you don't do anything. just because you can die doing anything doesn't mean you recklessly do everything. just offerred food for thought is all. i was mostly clarifying for ghondi but maybe i didnt explain myself.

Yes, I am getting it shaded as shown in their picture...with a little tweaking of color. Its gonna be shadded in like greyish....but the flames will have reds,yellow,orange...to look real...not colored in but add lines of those to the shading, and a few light green/lime green/bright green..w/e you wanna call it, to make it stand out a bit more.

Nothing wrong with tats. All i would suggest is nothing a short sleeve shirt wont cover. Also no matter what never ever get anything from out of a tat shop book. Nothing worse then a person with a carbon copy tattoo claiming it has meaning.

So be original and get your monies worth by making the person draw you a custom piece.
