I think Windows Media Player automatically converts them, not too sure.

Windows Media Player will do Mp3 (as well as a few others i think?) to WMA.

AAC to Mp3 or WMA your going to need a diffrent converter. I recommend dBpowerAMP it can do pretty much any type of music converting. Including Windows Media Audio (WMA), Ogg Vorbis, AAC, Monkeys Audio, FLAC, Apple Lossless (ALAC)

dbPowerAMP ownz all.

Once installed, it integrates itself into the right click context menu. You just right click on the audio file to convert it.

Don't you have to pay for dBpowerAMP after 30 days?

if you have microsoft plus it has a converter for MP3 to WMA, and there is alot of programs out there too...but why would you want to convert? WMA has alot less quality...only thing good about is it takes up less space..

Thats probably the olny reason. He might have a small flash Mp3 player that olny has like 512mb of space and he wants to get as much as he can. Plus honestly I can't tell much of a diffrence between Mp3 and WMA. Also all versions of windows have the converter. Its called windows media player wink

Yes, but i'm sure getting a serial for it wont be very hard. I got one like a year ago reather easily. I don't think this version ever asks for one http//www.zeropaid.com/dBpowerAMPMusicConverter

I just wanted to change songs on my phone from MP3 to WMA cause I liked the interface w/ WMA better. But I just tried to convert some songs and they sound terrible.

I'm keeping the songs on MP3.

Doesn't look like you want to change the format anymore, but iTunes will do it automatically when you add songs to your Library (depending on what you have your "Import Using" set to in the Importing tab of the Advanced tab of your iTunes Preferences menu).
