I got my 30GB Video iPod (TRAINN is my new best friend, and we are going to gang up and kick FreePay's ass). Now, I am a Computer Science Major so I lishouldli be able to figure this thing out....then again...

What's the best way to get DVDs onto this thing? I have some TV series on DVD that I'd like to watch on my lunch hours. I don't care terribly about the quality of the rip (teeny tiny screen) but I'd like decent sound and to be able to see what's going on.

I own the DVDs (and the ipod!!!) legitimately so there should be a cheap/free way to get them onto the 'pod.

Thanks for any suggestions!

There is software out there that can convert your files. There are multiple topics on here that tell you exactly how to do it

Check out Dvd Ripper. And then you can convert them with iPod converter.

Use the first to burn it to your computer, then convert that file to an iPod file format (li.mp4)

I would like to point out that FreePay is succesfully kicking it's own ass.
