Assuming the PDF is not editable, you can convert it to an image and type in the information in your favorite image editing program...then either convert it back to a PDF, or print it from the image editing program.

Foxit PDF Reader http//www.foxitsoftware.com/pdf/rd_intro.php

I use this instead of Acrobat Reader since it's very small and fast. It also lets you edit the PDF although the free version doesn't let you save the edited PDF (you can print it).

However there's an easy workaround I use for saving with the free version use PrimoPDF, CutePDF, or any of the other free PDF writers that work as print drivers -- then just "print" the edited PDF to another PDF, and voila... you've saved it. ) I use this all the time for filling out PDF forms, including W9's and Freepay redemption forms. ;)
