Can someone please explain to me what these #'s mean?

I want to know how many minutes my family has used this month so we don't go over.

I dialed #646 which sent me 2 text messages.

If you're under a family share plan (or some type of share plan), then most likely the second text was for your own ammount of personal useage.

what service are you with?

with cingular, I was using their #min to check my minutes and then I had a ridiculous bill. they said i used like 1,000 minutes or something.

anyways, when i talked to them, they said that those numbers on the screen are INACCURATE. Even if it says [ic83b70e9ed]"As of <date>, you've used ##[/ic83b70e9ed]"... they said its just not accurate because the delay to show minutes can take up to 2-3 weeks!!! They said at the end of the message, it says [ic83b70e9ed]"limitations apply. see www.cingular.com for details"[/ic83b70e9ed] and if you go to that site, somewhere on there it should say that those minutes are not accurate.

However, I went to www.cingular.com and can't find that stupid message anywhere. Then, they had to finally send me the link to the message... which is like 5,000 clicks from the main page... and yep it actually says the minutes they report to you on your cell phone are not accurate and can be delayed for weeks!!

Anywas just a precaution. be careful and good luck.
