ever get a phone call from this number???
i feel its from all the offers i do
i use to get called 16x a day by them when i had my phone on silent and looked at it after classes
it was very annoying
i finally gave my friend the phone after i picked it up once and told them to stop calling. he said he would go to where they were located with a baseball bat and hurt them so bad that they wouldnt be able to ever dial a phone again, and they stopped calling.
but since i got back to doing these "scam" freebie sites i am once again getting a call from this number...

Even though I doubt you have it on your cell phone, I have a feature on my home phone that makes telemarketers enter the phone # they are calling from. Sometimes they're clever and use our # so it looks like they're calling from the house or they'll just enter 123-456-7890 or whatever.

It is illegal for telemarkers to advertise to a cellular phone. If they are doing it, tell them you are on a mobile and they will say goodbye and hangout.

I got this no call thing. And if a 1800 number calls us, we can sue them for $10,000. Everytime I say that, they hang up, don't even get a chance to say GoodBye. buahah good times.

OMG! I get that number calling me too! I told them to stop yesterday, so they did. But some other number calls and hangs up at times.
The spammer is either spoofing the Caller ID, passing on a PANI (Psuedo Automatic Number Identification) or the spammer is intentionally passing on an ANI Fail when they made the call to you.
The first possibility seems to be the most likely cause to me.

I heard that your number is in a computer and it dials you and if you pick up the computer knows you still use the phone so they'll call back. Apparently you're supposed to put this tone in as your message in your voicemail which tricks the computer into not calling anymore because it has something to do with that being the tone it gets if your number isn't in service anymore so it takes your number off the list. That's what I heard so I tried it and it worked, no more phone calls. There was a site that had the certain tone but I forgot where it was. I heard the site that does this is Homerewards or one of those sites. There is a nice long forum that I found when i googled the phone number about people having the same problem.

What a coincidence, I've got that 000-000-0000 number. My girlfriend talked to them to see what it was, and they wanted to give me $40 of gas vouchers and up to $600 savings on groceries. They said theres a 2 dollar shipping charge, but if we dont like their product we can call and cancel. weird.

they could be calling from something like Skype. When I call people with Skype (free outgoing calls to landline/cellphones till the end of the year) my caller ID is just 012-345-6789 i think...

remember that if u opt out of calling telemarketers can still call u if u do business with them in some way or approve it, often without your knowledge.

i kept getting this phone number calling me too...i finally answered...it was people saying
"i'm calling about your visa...don't worry nothing bad, IN FACT YOUR IN SUCH GOOD STANDING WE WANT TO GIVE YOU $40 IN GAS. You still have this visa right. I said no even though i do....they hung up faster than i could say anything else....lol"

I tried that but apparently since it's under my mother's name they won't let me. They said that they would call back later to talk to her. I said no please dont, stop calling and then the bitch hung up on me.

I also get both triligent advertisers saying they will send me $125 in gas for $10. Not a bad deal. These people own dealpass and greatfun
