Should I buy this? It doesnt look nearly as cool as the iPod nano (I had a 2gb but sold it), but it has tons more features.

4gb - Holds up to 1,000 songs retails for about $180.
Supports video, pictures, has FM tuner, voice recorder, and simple drag and drop for adding music and video files. No need to convert the files either.
What do you guys think? Is it worth it?

Ok. It does look cool, but I might be ridiculed by the kids at school because its not an iPod.

I'm seriously considering buying it. The reviews are all good for the most part (8 out of 10 on ZDnet)
I think it looks pretty cool. And its from Sandisk, not some other unknown brand. I would get it.

It's an awesome player. I have one myself. I also have a vidoe ipod. I must admit an ipod is better. But for this price of the sansa, compared to the ipod? Sansa is much better. Since its not much off from the ipod.

step 1 buy that sexy looking thing
step 2 load it up with music and take to school
step 3 wait for ridicule
step 4 promptly tell other kids, "Bite ME!"
step 5 watch jaws drop at features

that looks freakin awesome! i dont think kids would make fun of that, it pwns the nano like crzy!
Why do you worry what your ignorant peers think of your MP3 player? Fuck them. It's your right to have an MP3 player that suits you; not a small handful of teenagers who worship a name brand as a statement that you're 'cool' or you're worthy of everyone's respect and admiration.
I actually like the look of the Sansa and the list of features it boasts.. But, I've never tested one out, so I'm not going to tell you to go out and buy one. But if I was in your situation; I would seriously consider that player and also check out some other MP3 players and compare the features and price. If you've already done so and this player stands out above the rest, I'd buy it.
i think it looks cool somethingarlic )
ignore the sandisk haters at school!

Amazon has it for $180. But I read some reviews about it having some sound problems. I hate my peers anyways. If it didnt have sound problems, I woulda overnighted into my pocket right now. Gotta read some more reviews first.

IAWTC.
The SanDisk is very nice. The closest thing to a competitive MP3 to the Apple iPod line. I'm thinking about buying one as well. Honestly, I prefer it to the Nano.
It looks nicer, has expandable memory, plays video feature, FM radio, larger screen, good interface.

I thought the Sansa uses MicroSD instead of MiniSD.
Btw...what's the difference between the two?

For my benefit, hopefully none.
