She is a lop-eared bunny and I am not sure, but I think I have had her for about 5 years. I looked it up, and it said they live 5-10 years, so it might have been because she was old. We were doing a bug-bomb in the basement, so i put her in an outside cage, and forgot to take out food and water and shade, but it was really cloudy today. She has also been really skinny lately, so I have no idea what happened. I just got home and went to check on her and she was laying sprawled out and wasnt moving. I put a towel over her, and I will dig a hole, but there is no way ill be able to put her in it...She was so sweet and cute, im pretty sad...

I'm sorry to hear that, both of you, but as for Kyks, baby rabbits are very hard to maintain as babies. Their immune systems are very weak and without their mothers, the chances of them getting enough food is nearly impossible. (

They're very docile animals. I'd sooner recommend a rabbit than anything else for the lowest maintenance, but remember, when you get a pet, it's STILL a commitment. If they get sick, you pay vet bills. If they need surgery, you ought to pay for it.

If you know for a fact that you'd never pay for your pet's surgery, you ought not to have pets to begin with.

Theres a little black rabbit that roams the hallways in my high school.
Names Midnight (b/c he's all black ;))
Anyway...I see him come into my chemistry class somtimes when roaming the hallways.
I think its pretty cool...

His actual "owner" is my Diving coach / Marine Studies teacher / Earth Science Teacher.

Sorry about your loss. It's hard to lose a pet, no matter what type of animal.
