Transflash on Verizon Wireless V3m Razr

I got the Verizon Wireless V3m Razr today.

I also got the music essentials kit and a 256mb microsd/TransFlash card.

I'm pretty new to high tech phones, anyone care to help me figure this out? I don't even know where to put the damn card at so I can put music on my phone.

It won't connect to my computer and my computer thinks it's a Motorola USB modem.

I know, you have to have the Motorola Software to do that.
You need to format the memory card first (so you have to put it in there). Take the battery cover off your phone. Take the battery out. You should see a place to put your memory card. It is kinda of whitish color. Slide the memory card in. Turn on your phone. Go to menu-settings-system-device info-storage devices-and you shoulkd see TRANS T-FLASH. Click optinos, then ofrmat. Let it format it. Then, take the memory card out again. To put songs on the memory card, put it in the adapter that came with the card.. Then put that into your computer (It should say SD slot). Now bring up My Computer, go to Trans Flash on the directory that comes up (You should say C Drive My Documents etc.) And then drag and drop your [b5761b18175] .WMAurl==http://=http:///url FILES[/b5761b18175] to the my_music folder. These files must be converted to .WMA's.url==http://=http:///url Then once you finish, take out the adapter, pop the transflash card back into your phone, and bam, the songs are in the my music under get tones.

That should work. The USB cable (direct to phone) won't work that well because of the restricitions Verizon puts on the v3M.

And can you set them as ringtones?

I mean, I am pretty sure they will come out with something pretty soon. I don't know if I would return it just yet. I really like it, I bought it yesterday though.

Yeah I got mine today the only thing I don't like is that it doesn't say how many texts you have in your inbox after you read it and the sccreen on the outside turns black after a few seconds.

Yeah, I agree. And when you turn it on, it takes like a minute to register applications.
