I had just recently added a large library of music to my iTunes music library. And in usual fashion, I clicked "Show Duplicate songs" so that I may clear any duplicated songs and save space. Well when doing so this time, I realized that there were over 1500 duplicate songs in my library.

My question is...Is there a quick and easy way to clear all duplicate songs without manually going through the entire list and selecting each and every duplicate?

Thanks

Dude there is. Click on the last one, then hold Shift and click on the top one. It highlights everything inbetween, then just right click and hit Clear.

I really hope you get this message, haha.

^^^Except duplicates will probably be right next to each other....Thus your shift button will select both of them....he's got to go through 1 by 1....

wrong it shows the real and duplicate. what i would do is clear the entire library then import all your music again and let itunes organize it and that should take care of your problem unless you actually have more then one file if that makes sense. otherwise you will have to go 1 by 1
