just called him, he says it probably says "nerd" from my description of the symbols. he said that or "nerp" so yeah goin with nerd heh
edit i called back with symbol names and it turns out he thought i was reading it right to left but i wasnt heh. now he says it either says "cauliflower" or else isnt sure without seeing it.
