As a teenager, not only is price important, but taste.
Coors Light seems to be the best tasting, and I'll pay a couple extra bucks for that over a case of Miller Lite.
Kyks--maybe you should stop being a communist and start liking beer.

Budwiser > Bud Light > Coors > Keystone > Miller > Busch
Thats my order of the shit beers, i'd much rather have a rolling rock though shrug
Keystone is definatelly worse than Coors, even though it is the same beer, and I can't stand the aftertaste of miller (altho I havn't had it in about a year) I Love the taste of budwiser... I used to not like beer, but it has definatelly grown on me!
[b5df300e551]Best American Beer[/b5df300e551] Miller Lite
[b5df300e551]Best All-Time Beer[/b5df300e551] Viking
Viking is a premium golden lager beer brewed with the European pilsen method. The pure Icelandic water and a unique combination of malt, hobs, maize and sugar give the beer a distinct bitter taste.
Gold and Silver medals from the Monde Selection Institute in Bruxells testify to the unquestionable quality and Viking is the only Icelandic beer that has received such a prestigious international recognition.
Our brew master, Baldur Karason, takes pride in selecting the best barley and hobs and carefully oversees the brewing process from malting and fermentation to bottling.
Water is the single most important ingredient of beer and the Icelandic water is especially suitable for brewing lager beer due to its purity and "softness"
Viking is steadily building its market share and is the best selling beer in the state run monopoly shops followed by Thule, another product of the Viking brewery. The draught version of Viking is the most popular beer in pubs and restaurants.
Conclusion Icelandic beer, FTW.

As far as American beer, I stick to Leinenkugels (they're mostly in the midwest) and Killian's (I believe it's produced in the states, but I guess it might be imported). I also enjoy Labatt and Guiness, which are imported.

Is this best American beer, or best American beer available in a convenience store?
Respect to the Rocky Mountains, but not even Coors (and certainly not Budweiser or Miller) deserve mention in a discussion of the best American beers. There are so many craft and microbreweries it's not even funny.
Just noticing that igneous said basically the same thing I'm saying.
That said, if I have to pick a piss-beer, of course I'm going with Coors. (Hometown pride.) But I try to avoid it when I can...

No. Wine is usually 11-13% alcohol by volume (22-26 proof). Beer is typically 3.2% - 6% alcohol by volume (6-12 proof). Some craft beers, usually stouts, approach 9%, but 5% isn't low for beer.
