Anyone know how I can record from internet radio to put on CD keeping high quality?

I want the songs from a foreign station and I can not find them anywhere else.

1. Recording from computer reduces quality.
2. Taking anything from the internet reduces quality.
3. Burning to a CD reduces quality.

Depends on what you consider "high quality." I'm disappointed with anything below 800 kbps, but if you're fine with something in the 100-200 range then something like Audacity will probably work. (I don't know if there's a PC version, if you use a PC.)

No way, standard MP3 quality is 128 kbps, and those are far worse quality than CDs. I can get up to 1100 kpbs when I rip them using Apple Lossless, and some of the quality is always lost when it's being ripped.

You won't be able to get standard CD quality if you're burning a CD, no matter how good the original tracks are. Regular CD burners and regular blank CD-Rs aren't built to do that.

Sorry. (

EDIT However, it's possible, depending on the quality of your headphones/speakers, that you won't even be able to hear the difference.

Are you on a PC or a Mac?

Good To know ( Its awesome

For your use, go to edit audio and record!

It will come out WAV, use a converter to convert to mp3 quality of your choice. If it be 192, 136, 128, so on.

You'd be better off just ripping the stream to a file, than trying to record the audio off the sound card. There would be no additional loss of quality.

Look for apps like GetASFStream, NetTransport, Streambox VCR and WMRecorder.

Yea and I am having major problems with that, i just built this PC two weeks ago and i have onboard sound but I usually just connect it to my stereo through USB. It is having some trouble recording ANYTHING.
