I am looking for a torrent for some of my less popular shows, and they are only available in ipod format. I am assuming that I can play these on my computer, but will it need to be on only a 2.5" screen, or can I watch full screen without any quality loss? Also, is it divx? i.e. will it be able to play on my dvp642?

I really appreciate any insight

You can play /mp4 with "VLC Player"... And No. They're won't be a quality loss, it really depends at what rate it was converted.

I watch dvd quality /mp4's on my comp all the time.

no quality loss.....if it's encoded at a higher resolution! But if it's an ipod video, it's most likely going to be at something like 320x240 which will NOT look good full screen on a PC monitor...sure, there will be no actual quality loss..but the quality is not there to begin with. now, if you've got a nice, properly encoded mpeg4, they can just look AMAZING on a monitor!
